Fáilte Pafos exists to perpetuate Irish culture in the expatriate community and to function as a meeting point for the Irish away from home. We do this by organising events within the community. As we are not a commercial operation and no one involved in Fáilte Pafos receives any financial gain, all proceeds beyond the normal expenses of running an event are given to local Paphos charities.
During 2009, our first year we helped raise in excess of €1,000 in aid of the St. Michael’s Hospice Charity.
In 2010 we aim to continue to support local Paphos Charities and the more support we get from the community the more charities we can give support to.
During this year we are hoping to support St Michael’s Hospice and the Cyprus Kidney Association.
